Wondering how to draw a lion? Or has your child ever asked you to draw a lion! Now you can show them this amazing creature with just a few easy steps!
- First, draw a nice circle for the head. It doesn't have to be perfect, and in fact, the more ovall-y the better! Color that circle in.
- Second, add another smaller circle on top of that circle. This will be the lion's snout. It can be a different color to help differentiate the snout a little bit, and add a bit of depth.
- Third, do a pink upside down small triangle at the top of that snout circle. This is..you guessed it...the nose!
- Add two small black circles on the main bigger circle for the eyes. Then Draw a "J" and a backwards J on top of each other right under your pink triangle nose.
- Almost there! Draw a big yellow circle around all of your shapes in a zig-zag pattern. You have now created a mane for your lion!
- Last but not least, draw two half circles up above the main larger circle for the lion's ears.
And there you have it! You drew a lion! Share it with your kids and teach them how to draw Mr. Lion for themselves. Check out our other artwork available on our greeting cards, and let us know if you think we should make a lion greeting card available next. In the mean time, we hope you draw a hundred more lions!
